syslink Xandria 5.2 Revision 5

syslink Xandria 5.2 Revision 5 adds the option to export and import Custom Check definitions, to include RealTime Monitoring Check Results into Service Level Reports, and to define the Parameter Values Custom Check for SAP Systems with Java stacks.

Revision 5 of syslink Xandria 5.2 combines a couple of patch releases. Together they provide a bunch of new functions:

• Custom Checks can be exported and imported into a different syslink Xandria installation. This allows you to develop a Custom Check in your test system and move it over to the production system afterwards. You can access it via the More menu in the Custom Checks view.
• The so called Parameter Values Custom Check, introduced with Revision 2 of syslink Xandria 5.2 for ABAP stacks, is now extended to monitor properties of the Java stack of an SAP system. These Custom Checks will help you a great deal to cover security and quality aspects especially for auditing of SAP solutions.
• You can include RealTime Monitoring Checks Results in Service Level Reports. The list can be restricted to certain Check Status or Names.
• There is a new option for the SAP Jobs Custom Checks. If you plan to monitor the same SAP Job in multiple clients, you no longer need to define multiple Custom Check records. You can simply set the Check in each client option instead.

The new Revision 5 of syslink Xandria 5.2 will be available on June 26th, 2015.
